I never saw a white one. I was on a bike rally a couple of years ago and we passed a house that had some peacocks. One of them sqwawked really loudly as I was passing and it sounded to me like screeching tyres. I got an awful shock as the first thing I thought of was that somebody had crashed. It worked out fine though, just a peacock.
