Some books stir us in ways we cannot describe. Some characters stay in our hearts long after the words have left our eyes. Lily Evans, wherever you are in the creative ether, this one’s for you.
When I drew this I had in mind +Perfume+’s “The Plum Girl,” but it seems there are three literary women I can’t always separate: Lily Evans, the Plum Girl, and Laure Richis – all redheads, all tragic fates.
