Come Into The Garden, Maude by

In an age where women are no longer encouraged to reclaim their femininity, I hope that, in some small way, my photography will help bring light to the beauty of being proud of our innate femininity. True feminism, in my interpretation, is showing the world that we can be feminine AND strong.

“True delicacy is not a fragile thing.”
- James Broughton

“I said to the rose, ‘The brief night goes
In babble and revel and wine.
O young lordlover, what sighs are those
For one that will never be thine?
But mine, but mine,’ so I sware to the rose,
“For ever and ever, mine.”
And the soul of the rose went into my blood …"

- Alfred, Lord Tennyson

This is one of my best friends, Lydia, an echo of the pre-Raphaelite models of old. <3
