From an early age, I was an explorer in the garden. I went there to escape from my parents’ chaotic lives. I was a sensitive child who absorbed every sound, every colour, every texture, every nuance in the light and shadow of my world.

The garden has continued to be a main source of solace and inspiration in my life. I started taking photos with my Canon Ixus this year after my other child moved out of home. All my photos are taken in my ‘garden’, a place of tranquillity and hope.
