Surrealism is perhaps the style for dreams. This image surfaced early in the morning at I time when I was illustrating a story book, as a neat representation of the capacity of words to “ translate” other worlds.

El surrealismo es quizá el estilo adecuado para los sueños. Esta imagen salió a la superficie de madrugada, en un momento en que estaba ilustrando un libro de cuentos, como una acertada representación de la capacidad de las palabras para “traducir” otros mundos.
I am a Spanish illustrator and painter and I have worked as a graphic designer for many years.
I often discover my inspiration in some dream, or a fleeting impression lost in my memory.
My work has also been much connected to the written word, and the rich and suggestive world of tales and stories.
I am specially attracted to portraying human beings, with an emphasis on character and attitude, and their relationship to their surroundings.
