Pat Mullins, suburban housewife with one leg shorter than the other, was a nominee for Australian of the Year for pioneering the sport of rolling. (Due to her disability she found it easier to roll on her side around the house. This evolved into an actual sport with Pat at the forefront of its development) Having achieved glory for long distance and endurance rolling Pat embarked on her longest roll ever. She planned to roll on her side from her home town of Perth to Uluru.
