I’ve been doing mine for the last 2 years. I discovered that one of my ancestors was a sculptor and then found his sculptures all over the city!! Keep going with it – it does get tough and there are many brick walls but it’s a fascinating hobby. Good luck.

i can get back quite far on my mums side, my dads is another story he likes to think his dad found him in a box and that his mother wasnt his real one
