    Cheers Lea…can’t remember when … a mostly solitary child who read voraciously, wrote stories and drew pictures…as a mode of communicating- pencil and paper have always been precious things :)

    This is the piece that I wanted to be certain to come back to. It’s stunning. I often find it interesting to see what others write in their comments about a piece. But no one has really ventured to say what they really think it might be about. Your blending of solid ground and what appears to be water make me feel that everything is coming together as one. Human, earth, water, wind and sky, all one. The hands are reaching through the facade of turmoil and grief. For me it shows a realization that we can reach through and see the other side. Where love is waiting. Your work is very complex and exciting!! This is an instant favorite for me Jo…..I love your work, can’t wait to see more.

    Reckon you’ve pretty much covered it Elizabeth…I agree it seems to be about rising above the material plane of existence… using ones own hand-mind connection to make a way through perceived limitations… and yes… love is the answer :)
