Hi…I am Jo…
The art on these pages represent my journey so far… obviously… little pieces of understanding… that art is not an optional extra, but intrinsic to life… and that when I try to lock it away or control it… everything goes pear shaped.

Never went to art school… here at rb feels like a global university of art, a place of learning and inspiration, communication and challenge.
Pretty overwhelming at first…. endlessly diverse in forms of expression, I realise there is no right way, no comparisons necessary… and my low tech form of making images has a place amongst it all. I’d never shown them in public before, never even been in a chat room online, so when people left me comments…and featured some images… well it was very exciting and rather addicitive. Hopefully I’ve calmed down…now I’ve got a sense of direction its time to start afresh…
