This was done as a collaboration with Steve of Steve and Lesley. I took the photograph and sent it to Steve and he did the process of wiping the background out . This was taken about 18 months ago and she looks more brown now than black . Tina was a part feral cat and we have had her 3 years now .We are not sure of her real age but we know she is about 14 .This we know for sure after talking to some one who knew her owner and when she died .Tina lived out side for about 7 years after that . People fed her but no one wanted to take her in and give her a home . We don’t know how much longer we will have her as she has a gut tumour and obviously it depends on how fast it grows .She is a love and is very much at home here now . It took us about 6 months to persuade her to come in and stay ,and for us to be able to shut the door and for her to be happy about it . If anyone came to visit us she disappeared and sometimes we never saw her all day untill they had gone . But now it doesn’t bother her who comes she sits on their knee and is quite happy .Even when my daughter comes round with their German Shepherd dog she doesn’t bother about that either Just walks round like she owns the place . Big change indeed ..
Please go and have a look at Steve and Lesley and see the fantastic work Steve is doing with dogs images at the moment . Lilian

progressed from holiday snaps to being serious about it just 3 years ago.I keep a compact camera in my handbag at all times .It is more convenient, an SLR is to heavy and complicated for me. I just like to point and shoot. I do enhance my images slightly with pseudo HDR on a single image. Now I have a hobby and a passion.

Steve has done a lovely job here Lillian. Tina looks a lovely cat who has learned to trust you. I hope you are able to keep her with you for a long time yet.

  • Thank you very much jacqui . She only weighs 2-3 kilos and she has only 1/2 a pound to lose and then her weight will be critical and then we will have to make a decision .She gains a few ounces and then loses a few .At the moment she is having injections about every 6-7 weeks to keep her well being up and at the moment they are working so we will have to see
