I immersed myself in fairytales and fables as a child, living and breathing the sombre magic of Hans Christian Anderson, the Brothers Grimm and any others I could get my hands on. No surprise then that I adore such artists as Arthur Rackham, Kay Neilson and Edmund Dulac, whose unearthly, whimsical line drawings and paintings are alive with symbolism and tiny exquisite detail. I have been greatly inspired by these artists, which is probably obvious in my pen-work!
