„One of the most delightful things about a garden is the anticipation it provides.“ (W. E. Johns)
While the weathermen – and -women are telling us that we never had it so cold here in March and the icily easterly winds strongly confirm each morning that it will be another unusually cold day, the garden is showing the early spring colours of the crocusses at their best now. So spring may be late and it certainly is, but it is really on its way already and soon shall overcome altogether. And then the gardens will be a real delight again!
