Death Car

A burnt out wreck holding its secrets dark within. It’s chrome gone, it’s passion burnt out, it’s past now only a mystery. Its glory days gone like ash in the wind. All castles fall, all mountains crumble, all that lives comes one day to death, and cars, even our idols of the twenty-first century, have their individual stop.

Shot with my IR Modified S80 and enhanced with PSP’s excellent HDR capabilities together with a wonderful software plugin called TOPAZ :)

Death Car belongs to the following groups:

All About Fire, Australian Contemporary Photography, HDiR – The Marriage of Infrared and HDR, Infrared Photography, Mood & Ambience - Strictly Photos and Ruins, Ancient and Derelict Buildings Available for sale as

I think it was a hyped-up BMW. So, predatory is probably a very appropriate description :)

Thank you Jason. In some ways it was a shame to see such a car come to such an end. In other ways, it was a wonderful reminder of the mortality of all – even our metal gods LOL
