Doulos in Infrared
I did some snaps. But they’re pretty ordinary. Maybe if I am lucky and get a chance I’ll shoot some white-light pictures of the Doulos.
But at the moment, this is the best I can offer.
Doulos in Infrared belongs to the following groups:

Fantastic work!

Thanks Mindy – but I’m not very happy with IR versions. Hoping to get back to the ship before it sails for some white-light versions.

Love this . Has a bit of a Paul Vanzellaish look to it.

That is a huge compliment indeed!

Nothing ordinary about that Smithy !!
Look at that reflection …. fantastic

I really wanted an IR picture of the ship with the moon in the background but missed out on that (committments and cloud LOL) so perhaps it’s just sour grapes on my part …..

everybody seems to take photos of the Doulos and yours is a nice excample, will have to go down myself one day before she takes off…........

It’s definately worth a visit. It’s interesting at least to see what different approaches we all have. We should all tag our images with ‘doulos’ so we can check them out. (maybe we should try and sell them a redbubble book LOL)

Well Done, I like the Angle you captured this one in, I would probably have been extremely hard pressed with where to begin. Where is the Doulos?
lightsmith replied
Thank you Jason. It is currently birthed in Geelong (Australia). It floats round the world visiting different countries. Apparently it’s manned by a host of christian volunteers who try to bring the Christian religion to different people. The ship itself was built I think 2 years after the Titanic – so it’s an old boat but looking pretty darn good for its age!

No Kidding Sea faring Evangelism Hmm sounds like an adventure I would be up for.
Why can’t they make cars that last that long!!? LOL
lightsmith replied
I reckon they have the time of their life!
Cars? well, some of the oldies are still running I suppose but mostly they learn’t a little too quickly – build, buy, buy another…..
Luka Skracic
still very cool, always weird and cool to see the world in another way.
