I am – or so I think,
Or at least, I think that it is so,
But is it so that I think I am,
Or I am thinking it is so?

I’ve never regretted going infrared. I just want an eye-ball conversion now LOL

Most cameras will take IR pix with an R72 filter and a VERY long exposure. It’s a world that is just so beautiful.

Interesting use of IR
lightsmith replied
Thanks. It brings out the best in the view which is (i’m sorry to say) pretty ordinary with normal-spectrum photography.
lightsmith replied
LOL. I just can’t help snapping away.

Well thank you for teaching me a bit about this lense called IR…something I will eventually try out…Beautiful effects! Sidebar?...could you say that one more time for me ? :O)

LOL I actually have a detestation for a guy called Descartes. An alleged philospher who argued that ‘I think therefore I am’. Apart from missing the fact that he ‘is’ due to squillions of other influences, he also liked tying down unanaethetized dogs and cutting them up because their responses were ‘automatic’ and not related to pain as we know it. A philosopher in need of a good brain flushing….. Hence my side-bar nudge at his lesser-shade-of-gray brain cells LOL
Alan Findlater

Jason D. Lader...
Wow Superb, I am getting fired up by your IR images, I hope to have my hands on a new camera soon I plan on converting my D80 into a IR devoted camera.
What got you started on IR Lightsmith?
lightsmith replied
Thanks Jason. I think I saw one false-colour image with the glorious white leaves and blue sky and that was it. I was hooked. Then I discovered that this was the top of the pyramid and that a vast vista of alternative views awaited me. That was the start of my obsession LOL
