I appreciate your comments. I often wonder if the picture is right or not. I can always see things I’d change – if i could only move the trees a little one way or the other :)

Thanks Lucinda. I saw these trees and just had to stop for them. I must have shot about 10 versions but this one just seemed right. I heartily recommend IR filters – most cameras will need to be modified but some – with a longer exposure – will work just fine. My EOS350D didn’t seem too interested so I bought a point-and-shoot S80 which was very grateful and feels it owes me a debt of honour in that it takes lovely pictures for me :-)

So beautiful! Almost surreal! Love the composition and great tones. The image makes me try to examine this world and compare it with the pure and simple world in the image.
