This is absolutely a top shot. Garth! It is so beautiful. Love the foreground with the snow on the pandanus and the only bits of warm colour the dead fronds and the fungi on the log!
Thank you Bette
Thank you Matt
Nice one Garth.
Thank you Kylie
Beautiful work, love the cold feel to it
Thank you Hans
I’m having trouble imagining the Enchanted Forest covered in SNOW!!!!!!! (Especially when it’s 35°c here….) Wonderful shot, Garth!
Thank you Mel. It was really weird in there, in many places the main track was a tunnel about 3-4 ft high that dropped buckets of wet snow down your back. Many of the tracks that I went on last year couldn’t be seen at all because of drooping branches. Made it really hard to navigate off track because of all the bent over saplings.
At least there’d be no leeches, eh? :D
Well I didn’t see any – but I did have a bit of a patch where I dropped my strides about 3 times in 10 minutes because I thought I kept on feeling something crawling on my thigh. Never did find anything.
ahhh, don’t you hate that!!!
Thank you fauselr
