Again I name a probably un-named tarn with some ficticious moniker but it get so hard naming pics sometimes.
Spending 7 hours out in these “bushwalkers weather alert conditions” getting snow blasted seems to do stuff inside your head. I think it snowed the whole time we were out “in it” and we had at least 3 different types of snow.
Not sure on my processing, am pretty sure I will revisit it.

I love the lines leading back to the mountain Garth. Bit extreme getting snow blasted for 7 hours though! I hope you warmed up at the tavern for an equal amount of R&R.

  • Thank you Neil, I’m glad you like it.
Was pretty rugged up with thermals, polarfleece gear, goretex coat and trousers, gaiters, decent boots, balaclava and gloves. The snow was dry nearly all the time so hardly any lens wiping was involved’ even though the wind provided driving snow in the face sometimes. It was really weird being out in it and not getting cold.
Had tea with Claire & Mark at “The Lodge” til a bit past 11 and it was toasty!!
