That’s photogenic family! Nice lighting too. It definitely was a Fagus Fungus Fest!

  • Thank you Steph. Overcast conditions and longish exposures.

So tell me, did you pick up any leeches whilst lying on the mosses in the forest? I’m keen to have a go at macro, now I have my extension tube back, but am still a bit leery of the bitey things :) This makes me want to shoot fungus despite the bitey things!

  • You are going to find this hard to believe Mel, but I did not get one leech on my skin the whole week.
I picked 2 off my coat once and another time my coat was hanging off the shower head drying and 2 fell in the bath. Guess I must have bad blood, or maybe it was just my turn for good luck. … Maybe it was the curry I had before I went to Cradle LOL

I’ll remember to eat curry, get some proper wet weather gear, and keep a hold of my macro gear :)
