So far in the tilted shots I have posted, I have been using vertical tilt and a relatively small aperture to maximise the sharpness throughout as much of the pic as possible.
It was suggested by one of our very well respected members that I should post something with more obvious tilt effects.
Here is one that I found interesting.
I used the tilt to maintain front to back sharpness, but with a larger aperture to include some more obvious out of focus areas.
You might have to view it large to see the effect properly.
Still very much experimenting and playing at this stage.
