Maybe this is what they mean by “the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow”.
Seems like every time I have been shooting recently has been in showery conditions, and take it from me, it’s hard work, it’s tedious, it’s uncomfortable, it’s a downright p.i.t.a., and you end up wet with wet gear that has to be wiped down all the time.
But there is about a 20 second or so period, that makes you smile and glad to be alive to see it.
The sun breaks through, just before the drizzle stops, and the light just bursts forth with a magic golden colour.
Find some lichen or something in a warm tone for it to bounce off and you have your “pot of gold”.
