That looks so cool garth…is that accessible area down there other than by half-cabin cruiser LOL?

  • Thank you Ralph, a half cabin cruiser won’t get you up this far mate.
Luckily though the road will. This lookout is about a 20 metre walk from the carpark beside the road.
The river gets rafted quite often, usually in bits and pieces rather than its entirety.
Ive done it myself a couple of times from Kanunnah Bridge to the coastal township of Arthur River, once by canoe and once by kayak.
The Sth Arthur Forest is accessible via the Forestry road network and has some beautiful places to visit.
Becket Falls, Julius River, Lake Chisolm, Dempster Lookout and Milkshakes Reserve come to mind.
