no thats not its real name. But this image totally surprised me. I thought the camera held solely throw aways. Went for a shoot with Murph and didnt feel as if I had anything.
Then I looked at this more closely.
I love the isolation of all the little “islands”.

Not a throw away Garth, quite nice isnt it?

  • Surprisingly so given the uninspired shoot that I had Husky. Pity the sunset is blown but cest la vie.

Great collections of blues in this. Nice one.

  • Thank you drec, it looked a fairly drab scene in the half twilight as you may imagine, but the time exposure managed to show the true colours of the water and the rocks as is often the case. The camera sees what the eyes cannot.

Lovely pic – definitely not a throw away. The blown area actually provides a direction for the eyes to move towards.

  • Thank you Vikram, would have been nice if the orange had stayed in the blown bit though, maybe I can try putting it back, I’m guessing I can’t, but you never know.

Isn’t that wonderful when that happens? The ones you think are really bad can turn out to be gems. Unfortunately, sometimes it works the opposite way, that the pictures don’t turn out as good as you thought out there. This is wonderful work!

  • Yes its magic Eivor, a very pleasant surprise indeed.
Much better than when you get home with a heap of brilliant pics …. all out of focus blurs!!
    Thank you very much.
