Moods of the Mountain by Garth Smith
Clear

During the 150 minutes I had this place to myself on Sunday morning the clouds and snow flurries lifted several times as the sun went from below the horizon to above.
So I had conditions ranging from largely blue skies, snow blizzard, pink sunrise, whiteout, several different flavours of grey mood and some I have probably neglected to mention.
I didn’t really realise how much different coloured weather had been thrown at me until I got home and checked out my pics. Its amazing that I had so much different stuff in such a relatively small time.
This one is sunlight and blue skies.

    It looks cold!!!! Beautiful!!!

  • Thank you Carolyn, I didn’t get cold but full thermals, good boots & socks and wet weather gear and balaclava and gloves/mittens are the go in these conditions. Oh, and the thermos of tea that Tinnie kindly left me when he had to go back to plough the roads.
