Platypus territory

Platypus territory

As I was setting up for this shot a little furry wet fellow came to check me out – to see who was in his territory.
He watched me while feeding for a while then drifted off into the peacefulness.
Its quite a long time since I had seen one and this one seemed a bit gamer than most.

just beautiful Garth! would love to have seen that little platypus too, how special.

  • Garth Smith replied

I would have loved to have been able to show him properly too Jen but they are so hard to photograph that i didnt even try. Mind you I was very pleased to be just in his company as he cast a wary eye at me.
