Thanks Anne, its a beautiful peaceful spot that can be accessed from either the Mawbanna or the Forest end. So if you were leaving from Dip Falls travelling to Smithton you can turn off before you get back to the highway and go this way and drive over the shallow ford through the Black River. Usually only about 2 to 7 inches deep.

Thank you Steve, actually it was an overcast day and I was taking a shot about 10 feet away and all of a sudden the sun came out and the shadows leapt into view. I couldnt believe my luck. Glad you like it.

I’ve read the daily group critique – did seem to me that cropping the top (reducing height but not width) would be useful – but the fact that you tried that and lost the relative shadow depth shows that you never know until you try ….
