This is on the west coast of Tassie at a little fishing/shack village by the name of Temma. Its about 30 km south of Marrawah and as far as the gravel road goes south of there along the coast. After this it is sand or mud track depending on the time of year.

    Garth, I never thought I would favorite a sunset. While nice, they usually don’t do much for me as there are soooo many of them. This shot is different. The color reflecting on water and sand is stellar. Well taken my friend.

    Thank you Nikki, I recently had it turned into a print and put it in a frame and white border and even I have to look closely to tell its not a painting. Strange is nature indeed!

    Yep, as MNDL said, looks like lava! I just sent you a bm asking about a place south of Marrawah where I once saw waves my mate said were 30 footers. Maybe this place is near it. He said his older brother surfed it regularly years (decades) ago! Keep yer eye on it!

    I think I know every spot between 10 miles north and 30 miles south of Marrawah. Lots of shifting sand spots, hardly any reef breaks.
