Garden of love

One of my ‘oldies’
Encaustic with iron. A4
2006

Sally Omar immediately felt this the way i see it, her poem fits just exactly to my image.

Garden of Love
And an Angel whispered~

Walk with me through the Garden of Love
See the Light of Our Lord shine from above
Come where the flowers bloom
Where life is beautiful and there is always room
Souls of those who have departed smile
They are now here after walking their last mile
Where Our Lord will touch your head
And there is never anything to fear or dread
Where we will sing you to sleep
And all promises Our Lord will keep
As the beautiful puffy clouds fly by
And there is the bluest sky
Come with me and take my hand
And I will take you to this land
Close your eyes for the very last time
You are now going to the place sublime
No more hurt … no more pain
Only sunshine….no more rain
No storms beating within your heart
Love will meet you from the very start
Come hold my hand and we will fly
Up to the bluest of skies
You will hear the coo of a dove
When we reach THE GARDEN OF LOVE
