Franky Lie

Franky Lie is a Chinese-Indonesian young and talented photographer. He was born and raised in Bali, Indonesia.

His passion and love for photography started in his childhood. He regularly used his father’s 35mm film camera during the school holiday tour but also learned about photography technique. As the years passed his passion for photography has continued to grow.

In early 2005 he bought his very first 35mm film SLR camera and he’s just become even more obsessed with photography. Since then photography not only became his serious hobby and later career, but also his dedication in life.

Specializing in fine art photography, he loves capturing people, human interest and wildlife. Working in both color and black & white, his photo-journalistic style is simple yet artistic and distinctive.
