Doll Girl

Patchwork dress of pink and lace
Bright button eyes on my dollish face
And a cheerful smile stitched in place
Awful is a ragdolls fate

Dress me down and dress me up
with no care for my shame
But because you are a child
You I cannot blame

Tossed around the playground
Draged through mud and dirt
And although I smile cheerfully
Oh Gods above it hurts

Tug of Wars with other kids
Tearing at the seams
Still I grin so cheerfully
With my stitch lipped smile
I cannot scream

Because we really did abuse our toys when we were kids.
