Often considered now to be one of the best propaganda posters ever made, “Keep Calm and Carry On” was a design produced by the British government in 1939 in advance of World War II to palliate fears of death and war and general apocalypse. The thing is, it was never actually used.
Well, it isn’t 1939 any more, and with global financial collapse and war raging, the stoic British attitude seems, well, a bit disproportionate.
Maybe it’s time to freak out and break things. At least get a little pissed for God’s sake.
keep calm and carry on, propaganda, parody, funny, england, british, uk, crown, freak out, break stuff
