Majestically she soars and glides
aloft the airstream’s gentle wave,
and carried on its wide, deep current
her eagle eye observes
the smallest movements of hungry predators
that threaten harm or danger
to her own so far below.
She guards them all, those
small newborns within her nest,
nourishes these fledglings with what
she’s learned of survival,
of being eagle in the world,
of being one with all around them,
part of the cycle
of birth and life and death and life,
the interdependence of all things,
the give and take of growing wise and strong
and at peace within themselves.
With her spirit breath she seeds
the billowed clouds and in just this way
ensures that all below are showered
with her wisdom, with her love.
And still she soars.
Eagle
My wonderful friend, Linaji captured this incredible image called Mighty Raptor2 but it seemed to me to be an icon for Lina herself, whose spirit embues us all with courage and hope and inspiration and a sense of connection to one another that is true gift. So this is for Lina.

Well as you know,, I am so moved with Love for you and what you have brought to my world.. your tender care for me through my trial and growth here is quite amazing..as I just viewed my finder and see the number 10011 all lined up (111 is an amazing number to express the endless connection of Ourselves to Each Other)... Deeply Honored I am.. you light up my life with your spirit and your words.. That being said My Dearest.. even the great poet that you are.. words here are,,, Not… Enough… I love you I do.

I just read it again.,, I cannot tell you what this poem does for my soul… I am well I am… Love how can this 4 letter word tell you about what is inside me,, I am sick so sick with this love,, I cannot contain it nor express it… my tears cannot expose the depths of it’s scope.. I only wish somehow some way I could just hold you enough times in my arms in my heart and in my universe to tell you feel you and congeal you.. to witness my L O V E and deep Appreciation..
