Hi Everyone -
I probably should have shared this in buyers’ booth but it would have taken me at least 6 uploads to do it! For the past couple of months, I’ve been accumulating works by friends and artists I’ve come to love and admire and I so want to share my “Christmas in July” spectacular gifts with all of you. These are but a few of the many, many works by dozens of you I’d love to have and over time I sure hope to have something from each of you whose work has moved me or touched me or spoken to me in some way.
First is the incomparable LindaR whose vision of beauty expresses only a small fraction of her incredible heart. This photo does no justice to her beautiful “Waterfall of a Rose” but given the reflected light in my studio, it’s the best I could do:
Next, my sweet and dear friend, Saleire created this unique masterpiece, “A Guiding Light” just when I needed this message most. I’m adding to my growing collection of her stunning work:
Then my wonderful Scottish friend, Jen Whyte captured the magic of her beautiful country that has always called me home in this incredible scene, “Across the Head of Loch Fyne”;
Next in one of the most stunningly beautiful and restful shots I’ve ever seen, my very talented friend, Joan1970 caught this perfectly tranquil moment in “Garden Falls”
I also indulged in a few notecards – the top row from LindaR – “Dahlia Collage,” “Love,” and “Light of a Rose” and on the bottom the delicate, watercolor style abstracts by my dear friend HilaryDougill – “More Abstract of Forest Water” and “Abstract of Pale Lilac Rhodie.”
and Nancy Fischer’s “Never Too Many Tulips” on the bottom left.
Finally I made two “off bubble” purchases I’m incredibly excited about – two books I’m going to treasure for a long time. The first is by my enormously talented and incredibly special friend, Nancy Fischer It’s her first book of photographs entitled Urban Streetscape which you can purchase directly from her here on RB or from Blurb publishing by clicking the link just provided. You’ll find something wonderful and new to love in it every single time you browse through it!
Last but certainly not least, I’ve been immersing myself in the totally delightful poetry of Amy Jo Sampson, our own girlinthestars in her book, Kissing Paper which is available from Lulu Publishing. 
I really am a greedy soul when it comes to art and literature. I suppose I’ll have to stop for a while – lol – until I find room to hang and frame all my lovely things. I know you’d all love their work as much as I do, so I hope you’ll forgive me for showing off works that mean so much to me!
