I must have bugs or insects on the brain or they are following me around because everywhere I go to shoot a picture it seems the bugs get all the attention. And – lol – I really dislike insects and bugs! But this guy had an apparently voracious appetite as he’d devoured most of this beautiful bright red zinnia in no time at all!

1. Crown of Stars
2..Cream Dahlia
3. Top Hat

Is there some kind of Natural thing that might help your Flower—like Ladybugs?

  • lianne replied

thank you dear friend – that is the nicest compliment coming from you! I’d forgotten that crickets were good luck – so that will count for the previous bug! This one’s a grasshopper I think. You’re too sweet to me Linda!

Awesome,Lianne. Beautiful color and details. Like a crown the middle part of the flower. Very nice comp.

  • lianne replied

  • Mariann Kovats

    Mariann Kovats

Yes, I forgot to mention that, it is. I have hard time to catch a flower with bug, because in the morning when we don’t have breeze, the bugs are not really out, I guess it is not warm enough for them, later it gets warm, by then we get the breeze from the ocean, than you can not do macro, so my goal is still to shoot a flower with bug/bee, or some creature. :) Until than, I have to enjoy other’s and that is fine with me.
