Grandmas Keys
This is not for sale but I wanted to share.
A fun little project a friend of mine gave me.
These were keys that belonged to her grandmother.
She wanted an old antique feel to the image.
I tried a lot of overlay textures and decided in the end to keep it simple by making it sepia toned.
The keys were photographed inside a really old bathtub. The texture underneath is rust.
Enjoy!

I love skeleton keys…I also liked the keys I saw in Europe back in the mid 1990s…they were cross shaped and had the teeth on four different sides.
Harlan Mayor
I love the simplicity, Great job! You have many other great works as well.

i agree with dave miller! and i love your choices of color, not only in this one, but others with this similar nostalgic atmosphere. i love working with colors like this, but i tend to saturate them more. your subtle style is very successful
gompo
makes you want to touch both, the dirt and the keys and go wondering and see which door they open!!! Great shot and treatment!
