Leah, I absolutely adore this image. All of your work is rich and beautiful in color and depth but I will always favor this sort of emotional and poignant art. . . the touches of color are perfect, the emotive quality of the child’s face is a draw in and the doll is perfect. . .

This is a very powerful piece… And i understand completely what you mean when you say you’re not down or depressed or anything, yet these images and ideas seem to come out from nowhere.
Many of my newest writings and drawings have been fairly dark in tone, and yet i’m actually feeling happy and bubbly right now. I suppose these images come from our deepest regions and reflect how we may have once felt… rather then portraying how we feel right now.
Either way and whatever the reasons… This is a very emotive piece… beautifully so.
