okay..ready? :))...I like the contrast between the innocence and the rugged texture and colours, I like the composition, the contrast in lighting and the feel of this scene..and that tree is just fantastic !! :)

I think this is brilliant – that solitary, childlike figure in luminescent white in that craggy, other-worldly landscape. A cleverly-constructed image.

Leah this just oozes with feeling….the young child almost transparent in this “big” world and the tree so large and dominant….to me this is almost a contradiction because I believe that as children we cannot sin… (thus, the angel wings) we just make mistakes, learn from them and go on and we are forgiven and blessed…...as an artistic image it is superb, the depth is wonderful, the tones perfect and the overal image is just superb! I commend you on this wonderful work of art!!!

Oh yes, I do like it – in fact, I love it! It has a surreal beauty, intriguing multiple layers of texture and meaning, powerful symbolism, exquisite sepia toning … amazing work!

the transparency and layers are what make it unique giving it an ethereal effect; the darkness and contrast also add to it and usually what you put into it ie. here an Angel, make a surreal image. All together they give me a ‘feel’ and make me think because they are out of the ordinary.

Wow! Is it pen, brush and sepia? Brilliant work whatever the medium.

The brilliant glow of her wings is in such contrast to the rest of the image… thats what does it for me. And the way she is looking at her toes… it seems impossible to imagine such a beautiful creature having been capable of doing anything so bad that she feels this sorrowful.

love it. love the form of the tree, the color is fantastic and the transparency of the girl is mystifying.

This is quite beautiful Leah! I love all the texture, tone and the whole look of this work! But also, to me personally, when I look upon this work, I think about Adam and Eve, when they sinned against their Creator. For them there is no forgiveness, they had perfection and they’ve exchanged that for independence from God. But for the offspring of Adam and Eve, God promissed redemption and gave hope. And that is what I feel this picture is conveying!

It’s the emotion, the sense of shame but willingness to be humble and ask for forgiveness. I love this piece. My goodness I love it. The feel of it, the sepia tones, the posture of the little girl, the way her wings flutter but also are simi transparent really, really makes this piece one wonderful artwork. I can only shake my head as my heart is so full right now. This is touching in an amazing way.
