It’s been four years since Nicky and I decided to leave behind the tupperware skies of England and head for a place where the sun shines, the water is warm, and the wildlife is generally deadly.
Discounting a close call with a Huntsman spider in a hand towel, we’ve both managed to avoid being bitten, stung, poisoned, or savaged to death by any of Australia’s remarkable flora and fauna, and haven’t looked back since we touched down.
