I was originally trained by a “professional” amateur photographer, my father, who had his own darkroom in our basement as I was growing up and while on our many long, long family vacations (interrupted when he wanted to photograph lightening storms from his tripod), and who has an unbelieveable collection of antique 35mms.
I have also attended several classes and workshops on 35mm work, composition, lighting and photographic design over the course of years, and contributed Arizona landscape photography to the Flagstaff, Arizona online news source, Flagstaff Central in 2006 and 2007.
I specialize in digital primarily in landscape and architectural photography and own Nitake Photography & Designs, and privately contract for custom stretched and wrapped giclee canvases of some of my work for home and office.
In addition, I contribute stock photos for designers for website/design use through Istock Photos.
