A statue of the Ancient Mariner stands on the promenade at Watchet, celebrating links between the town and the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The Rime of the Ancient Mariner is the longest major poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, written in 1797–98 and published in 1798. Watchet is a bustling harbour town in Somerset, England.

I live in the UK and in 2011 when I joined Red Bubble, started experimenting with different settings and angles. I enjoy finding suitable pictures of flowers, Scotland, reflections, lamps and seats and have now branched out into different subjects.
In 2013 I finally realised my dream of visiting Australia and New Zealand. Whilst there I purchased a Pentax camera so have been able to expand my portfolio of flower macros among other new and exciting subjects.
