Impatiens (busy lizzies) and begonias growing in my garden in Devon (UK).
Known in Britain as Busy Lizzie, this plant is known elsewhere as jewelweed, touch-me-not and snapweed.
The busy lizzie has flattened flowers with large petals and a tiny spur and comes in many colours: reds, pinks, purples and white.
The Begonia is a genus of perennial flowering plants in the family Begoniaceae. Although a subtropical plant it flowers well outdoors in cooler climates (such as England) in the summer months. Colours range through pinks, reds and white and the leaves can be bronze.
