TOP TEN (4th place) in the Still Working Tractors, With Their Crops Challenge in the Crops and Harvests Group, 9th September 2014
A tractor entering the village of Rattery in South Devon (UK) bringing a load of silage in from the fields. In places the road leading to the village is only about 3 metres wide leaving little room for larger agricultural vehicles to manoeuvre. Rattery is a small village between Buckfastleigh and Dartington. The name is often interpreted as a variant of “Red Tree” and is listed in the Domesday Book as Ratreu.
