Words Unspoken,
A love that never really could be
Her heart is broken,
How could she have ever hoped or thought he would ever see.
Her loyal devotion left cold by lustful deception,
because of
Words Unspoken.

She’s still breathing.
Hoping the pain will subside
Her heart is bleeding.
The wound festers deep inside.
With each smile, love cuts her to the core
But…
She’s still breathing.

Broken Chatter
She thought the bottle could help her drown the pain.
Sloppy Laughter,
poor attempts of an addict to hold back the rain.
Loneliness will still come once a sober morning breaks,
but in the meantime there is
Broken Chatter

Penitent Kneeling
She’s reminded of his promise to heal her throbbing soul.
Humble feeling
His peace pierces and makes her whole.
She can not change words unspoken,
or mend the bleeding heart.
Another love transcends all when there is
Penitent Kneeling.

Effects of Words Unspoken

My dear friend, I don’t pretend to know what you are going through, but I do love you and hope that you will find the strength that I know is in you. That does not mean that you have to mask the tears, it just means you don’t have to hide or bury them. Please know I love you, and no matter what I always will. This is dedicated to you….

Alexia, this is indeed a beautiful and poignant expression of your compassion and understanding….. I recognize the place you, the writer, are at, reaching out and caring for someone, I recognize the place “she” is at, broken in pieces…...I recognize the light of hope that shines through this… and know it is there for us all.
You are to be commended for your love and wisdom….

This is a beautiful and moving composition. The friend to whom you dedicated it is lucky to have you as a resource in their time of trouble.

About the best gift you could give to your friend. Beautifully written, compassionate, and expressive.

She is a very special friend, and I find myself being frustrated for her. This was about the only thing I could do to show my support. Thanks for your lovely comments.

Thank you for your sincere comment. In truth we are lucky to have each other as she has been there for me through some really tough times as well. It is the least I can do.
