I recently heard the quote above, and it pretty much sums up what I try to achieve better than I could have put myself.

You can find more of my work on Flickr – I don’t post a great many shots, the weather where I live being what it is, and the fact I work shifts sometimes conspire against me. I avoid posting shots I think are poor, or even mediocre and some of my photos take a great deal of time and effort to make, so I am pretty proud of the good ones.

I’ll be putting together a couple of calenders nearer the end of the year.

I don’t tend to reply to comments much, except the ones that ask questions about technique/location etc, but that doesn’t mean that I do not appreciate people taking the time to let me know they like my stuff, it just means that I’m lazy!!!! :o)

I’m completely self taught, through a few magazines and trial and error, and currently shoot on Canon gear.

I am currently putting together my own website, LewisGolbourn.com – I’d be pleased if you’d visit, and give me some feedback if you feel like it. It’s a labour of love at the moment, and I work on it sporadically, but eventually I’ll get it finished!
