Cheers Mae, are you interested in Ufology? Ever seen one? I saw my first UFO last Summer, I guess you have to see it to believe it.
You are so right ,one has to see it to believe it! Several years ago we were all sitting watching t.v. when the dog went nuts, ran under the bed, the power went out and we saw a multi colored light out across the field,it hovered there for about a 1/2 an hour, then it lifted and was gone, the lights came back on and the dog came out wagging his tail! It was really wierd.:o)))
That certainly sounds like a UFO to me! The thing I saw last summer at first looked like a very bright star – Jupiter I thought. Then I noticed it was moving so thought it must be a plane, and it wasn’t the height or distance of a star, but was beneath the cloud cover, only maybe one to two thousand feet high, and I continued to observe and there were no flashing aviation lights, it just got bigger and brighter as it got nearer, then stopped still, at which point I said to my friend/neighbour “what the hell is that because it’s not a plane” and it then took off directly upwards BUT as it ascended it no longer resembled a star and instead looked like an non-illuminated dull grey coloured circular object with a smaller circle inside, just like looking at the underside of a saucer. I estimate it climbed approx. 40 – 50,000 feet in about 4 – 5 seconds before disappearing from view ! It made no sound and left no contrail. VERY STRANGE !!!
