There was some research several years ago, resulting in an experiment at my local Police Station, where they painted a gaol cell interior pink in order to calm aggressive prisoners. Not sure if it worked!
Pink is a more common bathroom color than blue. THe pink is also sort of retro. I’ve heard that about pink in cell blocks before. Mauve is also used in restaurants as an appetite inducer. Green is used in surgical rooms to calm people before surgery.
