I spotted this great blue heron in a muddy field off 64th Street in Ladner, British Columbia, and couldn’t resist taking a shot. Photo taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T4i through the car window on January 3, 2012.

I’m just an amateur who loves to take photos, but am learning bit by bit everything there is to know about photography. I appreciate any comments – including constructive criticism.
