Gladstone's Land by

Situated in the Old Town of Edinburgh, Gladstone’s Land is a 6 storey 17th century old tenement house. Built in 1550 and then later redeveloped in 1617 by Thomas Gledstanes, a prosperous merchant. Gledstanes not only lived there but also rented out parts of the building to tenants. Rescued and restored by the National Trust for Scotland, the building is now a wonderful example of 17th century life in Edinburgh.

Thank you to all who stop by to have a look, it’s much appreciated, as are your comments!

Love the cropping of this, looks fabulous in that matte!

  • Hey Kim, thanks!! :) Yeah, i’d decided to go for a tall panorama or vertorama thingy if that’s what it’s called, so it’s several images stitched together to get the crop but not lose the ability to print large.
