This is another of my series, “That’s Not….” Originally the little girl was much younger and the premise was when a child asks for something that was promised to her by an adult, she should receive so not to develop poor social skills herself. Nevertheless, after a certain age, parents should have the foresight to see that meeting every whim of the child does not profit the child. Personality flaws that are not well received by other children will come about and if the there aren’t changes made soon, he/she will have a lonely life.
In this illustration, children are poking fun of what has become this little girl’’s normal attitude about everything. Even her dog knows it.
This was created on 11×14 mixed media paper with medium and fine tipped black ink and two different red gel pens.
