I created this during the Christmas Holiday when we had our first snow. It was almost story book-ish. I recall when I enjoyed making the snow men, we never had the rule, if the snow is yellow, don’t touch it. I don’t recall yellow snow until we moved into the city. Once the snow rule was implemented and I figured out what it was, snow men were a thing of the past.
Its like baking a cake. You have all of the ingredients at the ready and you only have just enough eggs for the cake. While you are measuring the dry ingredients, a family member comes and decides to make himself a snack. You pay no attention staying focused on what you are doing until, you start looking for your missing ingredients only to find your family member’s snack is an omelette.
This was created on 9×12 white mixed media paper with Prismacolor markers and water color pencils.
